MAINTAIN TERMINAL PRINTER (PAPER RELOADING)
NOTE
When the terminal printer is out of paper, the red PAPER OUT lamp flashes and the bell sounds for five seconds.
1.
Raise Terminal Printer Cover (1) to the open position.
2.
Open both tractor covers (2) outward to expose tractor pins.
3.
Place the paper (item 5, Appendix D) on the floor between legs of printer (3) with the leading edge of paper
parallel to the feed slot. Make sure the left edge of the paper is in line with the left tractor.
4.
Feed paper up through the feed slot. Align the margin holes over the tractor feed pins (4) and close the tractor
covers (2).
5.
Use paper advance knob (5) to align the pape perforations (6) halfway between the top of print head (7) and line
r
indicator (8).
6.
Close cover and observe that PAPER OUT lamp has gone out.
