REMOTE MONITOR STATION POWER-UP PROCEDURE
This procedure describes power-up of the Remote Monitor Station (RMS) in the Integration Shelter.
1.
In Integration Shelter at Remote Monitor Station (RMS) cabinet (1) note that the POWER AC
AVAILABLE indicator (2) is lit.
2.
Set the POWER ON-OFF circuit breaker (3) to the ON position and observe that the POWER
ON indicator (4) lights.
3.
At the COMMANDER'S VIEW and GUNNER'S VIEW 19-inch color monitors (5), press the
POWER switches (6) and observe that background color appears following a brief warm-up.
4.
At the COMMANDER'S VIEW and GUNNER'S VIEW 19-inch color monitors (5), press in
each DEGAUSS switch (7) and hold for 7 to 10 seconds.
5.
At the 12-inch monochrome monitor (8) set the ON and observe that screen brightness
following a brief warm-up.
NOTE
If monitor screens appear dirty, perform Display Screen Cleaning Procedure (see 3-8).
6.
To continue operation, perform User Log-On Procedure (see 2-131).
