USER LOG-ON PROCEDURE
This procedure assumes that the U-COFT has been powered-up. It is performed each time that a
user initiates operation of the trainer. Operating access is permitted only to those personnel having
authorized passwords. When completed it calls the Mode Selection page for selection of the desired
operating program.
1.
Assure that Electronic Equipment Power-Up Procedure has been performed (see 2-124).
2.
Press RETURN key on keyboard (1).
NOTE
If "Username", prompt (2) times out before username is entered (about 15 seconds) press RETURN
key again to recycle.
3.
Observe "Username:" log-on prompt (2) appears on display.
4.
Type in the word "INSTRUCTOR" or "MANAGER" on keyboard (1).
5.
Observe that "Instructor" or "Manager" appears correctly after "Username:" prompt.
NOTE
Typing corrections may be made prior to pressing the RETURN key. Simply press DELETE key and
type over.
