Section III. MAINTENANCE PROCEDURES
INTRODUCTION
This Section includes cleaning, removal/installation and test procedures to be performed by the Instructor/Operator. The
procedures will be performed on a nonroutine basis. They will be performed only as a result of problems found during
normal operation, routine checks or troubleshooting procedures.
MAINTAIN IOS MONITOR SCREENS AND DISPLAYTERMINAL SCREEN
Dust, dirt, grease, etc., that collects on the monitor screens (1 and 2) and the Display Terminal screen (3) should be
removed as follows:
1.
On Power Control Panel (4) make sure Main Power circuit breaker is set to OFF.
2.
Dampen clean soft cloth (item 3, Appendix D) with glass cleaner (item2, Appendix D).
CAUTION
Do not spray monitor screens with lens cleaning liquid as excess cleaner may flow between screen and trim panel.
3.
Clean monitor and display terminal screens (1, 2 and 3) using circular motions with cloth to avoid streaks.
4.
Let monitor and display terminal screens air dry.
