h. Rotate pump shaft to check for internal damage

or binding.

i. Check that lockwire, which secures pressure

adjustment screw, is not broken or missing.

j. Check key slot in pump drive shaft for damage.

k. Outside diameter of pump drive shaft must not

be worn to less than 0.4373 inch.

l. Check for any loose screws.

m. Look for damage to supply port.

n. Check pump drive shaft for straightness.

o. Check internal keyway width; it must not exceed

0.0970 inch.

p. Inside diameter of drive shaft must be smooth

and must not exceed 0.444 inch.
