R Install screw
and

Install two screws (14).
Install crankshaft gear key (15) in keyway.
CAUTION
Protect machined portion of crankshaft when in-

stalling crankshaft gear.

Heat crankshaft gear (16) until it begins to discolor, about
350 `F.
NOTE
Make sure gear is tight against crankshaft
shoulder and beveled edge faces crankshaft.

Immediately install gear
on crankshaft (4) and tap into
place using brass rod and hammer.
