SECTION III. PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE CHECKS AND SERVICES (PMCS)
a. Item number column. Checks and services are numbered in logical order of
performance regardless of the interval. This column should be used as a source of
item numbers for the TM Number Column on DA Form 2404, Equipment Inspection
and Maintenance Worksheet, in recording results of PMCS.
b . Item to be inspected column. The items listed in this column are divided into
groups indicating the portion of the trailer of which they are a part.
c . Procedures column. This column contains a brief description of the procedure
b y- which the check is to be performed.
