PRESSURE BLEEDING (See Figure 5-1).
4.4.1
Bleeding of pressure in the Oxygen Servicing
Unit is performed as follows:
Refer to WARNINGS specified in
Refer to CAUTION specified in
p a r a g r a p h 3.2.1.
1.
Verify that the valve of any oxygen bottle
which is connected to the unit manifold has
been closed by turning the knob in a clockw-
w i s e direction.
2.
Remove the plastic protector (dust cover)
from the filler line (11).
3.
Slowly open the BOTTLE PRESSURE OUTLET
VALVE (31) by turning the knob in a counter-
c l o c k w i s e  direction.
4.
Slowly open the REGULATOR PRESSURE
O U T L E T VALVE (26) by turning the T-handle
in a clockwise direction.
NOTE
After performing the above four
steps and when there is no sound
of escaping air emanating from
the equipment, the pressure bleed-
ing is complete.  When this is
c o m p l e t e d ,  recover the end of the
output service connector and close
both valves.
