Assembly.

Assemble starter driven

gearshaft following instructions which ac-

company figures 6-22 and 6-23.

1. Coat ball bearing with engine oil, Military

Specification MIL-L-45199, and position bearing on

bearing flange of gearshaft. Press bearing on gearshaft

using a suitable pressing sleeve (A).

2 . Coat ball bearing (B) with engine oil, Military

Specification

MIL-L-45199,

and

press

bearing

opposite end of gearshaft in the same manner.
