G Tighten adjusting nut cover (2).

Insert socket head screw key through adjusting nut cover
(2) into adjusting nut.
H Install setscrew (1).
Turn adjusting nut clockwise to increase pressure and

counterclockwise to decrease pressure.

nozzle spray pattern. Good spray pattern will be
cone-shaped with solid-appearing center surrounded by
cloud-like fog. Spray will be evenly atomized.

Remove socket head screw key.

Do not disconnect wire leads to manifold heaters
MANIFOLD HEATER TEST
while PREHEAT or MASTER switch is ON.
Electrical shock or injury may result.

Remove air cleaner adapter (p 3-5).
B
Turn MASTER and PREHEAT switches ON.
Remove manifold heaters (p 3-11).

Check for glow of heaters in chamber of intake adapter.
Inspect heater elements for breaks or deterioration.

If heaters glow, turn MASTER and PREHEAT switches
Replace defective heaters.
I
OFF. Go to step M.
Install manifold heaters (p 3-14).

Check for +24
at heater terminal.
Repeat steps B and C.

Turn MASTER and PREHEAT switches OFF.

Turn MASTER and PREHEAT switches OFF.
Install air cleaner adapter (p 3-7).
