REMOVAL
Refer to page 3-58.
DISASSEMBLY
CAUTION
Aluminum injection pump housing, including
mounting flange, must not be clamped in vise.
Refer to page 3-58 for fabricated mounting
ture information.
NOTES
Remove timing screw and gasket when gasket is
leaking.
Only remove overflow fitting when replacing.

Clamp mounting fixture (1) in vise.
Mount pump (2) on fixture (1) in an upright position and

secure in place.
c
Remove control unit retaining screws (3), tab washers (4),
and retaining plate (5).
NOTE
Plunger sleeve pin
will sometimes remain in
metering sleeve (34) (hidden). Remove pin (8) with
needle nose pliers or magnetic pencil.
D
Remove control unit (6), preformed packing (7) and plunger
pin
from housing (9). Discard preformed packing (7).
