CYLINDER HEAD REPAIR (CONTINUED)

If minor damage cannot be repaired, replace cylinder head

(1) and valve seat inserts (2). Salvage all other

parts.

NOTE

Use anti-seize compound (item 3, Appx C) when

replacing studs.

Inspect studs (3) for stripped or worn threads and bent or

loose shaft. Replace damaged studs.

Tighten new studs (3) to 35-40
