DISASSEMBLY

A Remove glow plugs (p 3-22).

B Using valve spring adapter (420-0210) depress valve spring(l).
C Remove both halves of spring

D Release valve spring adapter (420-0210).

Remove spring retainer (3) and valve spring (l).
Remove valve (4).
NOTE
Seal assemblies with retainers are installed on in-
take valve guides only.
G Remove seal assembly (5).
I
H Repeat steps B-G for remaining intake and exhaust valve
components.
Remove rocker arm studs (6) only if defective.
