Chock block (block detail, fig 52). Locate the 2- x 4-inch portion against wheels. Place two blocks in

front of each wheel and two blocks in rear of each wheel. Nail each block to semitrailer with one

20d two 60d, and three 40d nails in heel and one 40d nail in each side of block.

Shackle. Attach one shackle to each front tiedown and lifting provision.

Chain. Attach one chain to shackle on left front tiedown provision and to right front trailer tiedown

ring. Attach one chain to shackle on right front tiedown provision and to left front trailer tiedown

ring. Attach one chain to shackle on left front lifting provision and to left trailer gooseneck tiedown

ring. Repeat on right front side. Attach one chain to left rear tiedown provision and to right rear

trailer tiedown ring. Attach one chain to right rear tiedown provision and to left rear trailer

tiedown ring. Attach one chain to left rear tiedown provision and to left side trailer tiedown ring.

Repeat on right rear side.

Load binder. Attach one to each item C and tighten.
