Brake-wheel clearance. Minimum clearance required is 6 inches above, in back of, and on both sides of and 4
inches underneath wheel.

Side blocks. Each to consist of 4- x 8- x 1 -inch lumber shaped to pattern B. Locate one inside of each wheel.
Secure to car floor with five 40d nails in heel and one 40d nail in each side of block.

Chock blocks. Each to consist of a piece of 1- x 8-inch lumber cut to dimensions as shown, and one face
plate of 2- x 4- x 16-inch lumber. Locate completed blocks against wheels in the pattern depicted. Secure
each to car floor with five 40d nails in each heel and one 40d nail in each side of block.

Bearing pieces. 4. x 4- x 12-inch lumber. Locate under scraper blade, each side, and secure each to car floor
with three 40d nails.
