Remove all burrs from camshaft (5). Smooth any rough surfaces caused by removing the gear. Replace
camshaft if required.

Install woodruff key (2) which comes out in process of removing gear (FIGURE 4-31).

Lubricate the camshaft (5) surface with Lubriplate 105.
e.
Heat the spur gear (1) in an oven at 250 (121 ) for 45 minutes as shown in FIGURE 4-32.
