Cleaning.
(1) Wash jack exterior thoroughly with water and a mild soap.
(2) Rinse off all soap and water.
(3) Allow to dry.

Inspection.
(1) Inspect jack for signs of wear and damage.
(2) Inspect jack for cracks, dents, and bent or broken flanges.
(3) Inspect jack for signs of corrosion.
(4) Inspect for missing or damaged hardware.
d.
Service.
(Refer to Figure 3-16).
(1) Remove plug (1).
(2) Fill with hydraulic fluid MIL-H-5606.
(3) Reinstall plug (1).
