A V I A T I O N UNIT MAINTENANCE-
M A I N T E N A N C E INSTRUCTIONS
Section I. REPAIR PARTS, SPECIAL TOOLS, TEST MEASUREMENT
AND DIAGNOSTIC EQUIPMENT, (TMDE), AND SUPPORT
3 - 1 . COMMON TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT.
For authorized common tools and equipment, refer to the Modified Table of
O r g a n i z a t i o n and Equipment (MTOE) applicable to your unit.
3 - 2 . SPECIAL TOOLS, TMDE, AND SUPPORT EQUIPMENT.
No special tools, T M D E , o r s u p p o r t e q u i p m e n t i s r e q u i r e d f o r t h e A i r -
mobile Transporter.
3 - 3 . REPAIR PARTS.
Repair parts are listed and illustrated in Appendix C of this manual.
Section II. SERVICE UPON RECEIPT
3-4. GENERAL
This section contains instructions for service to be performed by the
u s i n g organization upon receipt of a new or overhauled airmobile trans-
p o r t e r . These services include checking, unpacking, and servicing the
transporter.
3-5. CHECKING AND UNPACKING EQUIPMENT.
a.
Inspect the equipment for damage incurred during shipment. If the
e q u i p m e n t h a s b e e n d a m a g e d , r e p o r t the damage on SF 364, Reports
of Discrepancies.

Check the equipment against the packing slip to see if the shipment
i s c o m p l e t e . R e p o r t all discrepancies in accordance with the in-
structions of TM 38-750.
Check to see whether the equipment has been modified.

Remove strapping, tapes, seals,
and other protective shipping ma-
terials.
