2-9. LIFTING TRANSPORTER AND SHELTER OR CONTAINER TO
T R A V E L CONFIGURATION.
After securing shelter or container to transporter assembly; refer to Fig-
ure 2-5 and proceed as follows:
Remove hydraulic jack handles from quick clamps on front and rear

suspensions frames.
Close bleed valves and insert handles in jacks.

P u m p each jack until cylinder exerts a lifting pressure on trans-

p o r t e r a s s e m b l y . W h e n each jack has reached this point, the shelter
is ready for lifting.
Position one person at each jack and raise shelter evenly by pumping

Pump jacks until lockout struts can be pivoted into place without
