Do not allow smoking or sparks while
working near the battery.

WARNING
Always begin at the battery ground (-) when removing battery cables.
a. REMOVAL:
(1) Remove two nuts (1, Figure 3-16), two washers (2), strap (3) and cover (4) from battery box (5).
