Inspect (AVUM)

Check for loose or damaged pins

Check liqhts in operation (Refer to

figure 3-2 as necessary)

Replace (AVIM)

Perform tasks 1 and 2 then as needed

Remove pallet assembly

3-40. REMOVING AND INSTALLING

BOLSTERS (AVIM).

1. Remove self-locking nut (1),

flat washer (2), bevel washer

(3) and bolt (5).

2. Pull bolster (4) away from

frame. Repair as needed.

3. Position bolster (4) under

frame. Align holes.

4. Push bolt (5) in place.

5. Secure with bevel washers

(3), flat washer (2) and

self-locking nut (1).
