EXERCISE SELECT BY CONTENT ACQUISITION AND MANIPULATION COMMANDER PROCEDURE
This procedure describes how to call up Acquisition and Manipulation exercises for Commander training. One of two
exercises may be selected with different combinations of owntank movement, sight use, and normal, manual and power
conditions.
NOTE
If Instructor/Operator desires a hard copy record of the Commander'sreticle aim and tracking performance press the
PRINT LAY ERROR key on keypad (1) during a FREEZE mode or at the completion of the exercise.
1.
Assure that User Log-On Procedure (see 2-131) has been accomplished
2.
Assure that Training Session Initialization Procedure (see 2-137) has been accomplished.
3.
Assure that Exercise Select By Content Menu Call Procedure (see 2-144) has been accomplished.
NOTE
If the Instructor/Operator desires to go back to the Exercise select/Session Summary page (see 2-140, step 26) for
another selection, press the number 8 key and then the RETURN key on keyboard (1).
4.
Press number 5 key on keyboard (1).
5.
Observe that the number 5 appears correctly after "Enter Number:" prompt (2).
6.
Press RETURN key on keyboard (1).
7.
Observe that the "EnterExercise Number:" (3) appears on Exercise Select -- Acquisition and Manipulation-
Commander display page.
8.
Review the two exercise descriptions presented and determine which is desired.
9.
Enter exercise number on keyboard (1) corresponding to exercise desired.
10.
Observe that exercise number appears correctly after prompt (3).
