EXERCISE SELECT BY CONTENT MENU CALL PROCEDURE

This procedure is used during the Training Mode and describes how the Instructor/ Operator selects one of seven training

exercise options based on exercise types.

Assure that User Log-On Procedure (see 2-131) has been accomplished.

Assure that Training Session Initialization Procedure (see 2-137) has been accomplished.

Observe "Enter choice:" prompt (1) appears on Exercise select/Session Summary display page.

NOTE

The training mode can be terminated from this page. To terminate, enter number 5 on keyboard (2) then press

RETURN key to recall Mode Select display page (see 2-131, step 11).

Press number 2 key on keyboard (2).

Observe that the number 2 appears correctly after "Enter choice:" prompt (1).

Press RETURN key on the keyboard (2).

Observe that the "Enter Number:" prompt (3) appears on EXERCISE SELECT--BY CONTENT display page.

NOTE

If the Instructor/Operator does not want to select the exercise by content, enter number 8 on keyboard (2) and press

RETURN to recall the Exercise Select/Session Summary page display presentation for another selection, call Session

Summary for review, or to Terminate Training Mode. (See 2-140, step 26).

Prepare Crew Stations for Operation (see 2-1 48)

Boresight and Zero (see 2-150)

Acquisition and Manipulation Exercises - Gunner (see 2-1 52)

Acquisition and Manipulating Exercises - Commander (see 2-154)

Evaluation Exercises (see 2-156)

Gunnery Exercises (see 2-158)

Terminate Select by Content (returns user to Exercise select/Session Summary).

Selection is made by pressing the number key corresponding to the selection and then press RETURN key on

keyboard (2).
