10. INSTALL GASKET (1) ON TRANS-
MISSION LOWER CONTAINER (2).
a. If gasket (1) has been discarded,
obtain new gasket. If not, use
old gasket,
b. Position gasket (1) on lower con-
tainer (2) in lip (3) of mounting flange.
c. Install new tape (4) on gasket (1) in
two places at each corner of lower
container (2).
11. REPAIRER AND HELPER ATTACH
SLING (5) TO TRANSMISSION UPPER
C O N T A I N E R (6).
a.
Lower lifting device (7) with sling (5).
b.
Attach two turnbuckle legs (8) of
sling (5) to lifting points (9).
c,
Attach two legs (10) of sling (5) to
lifting points (11).
d,
Adjust length of two turnbuckle legs (8),
if necessary.
