CAUTION
Do not pry the main caps to free them from the cylinder block.

Remove the main caps. Use two of the main cap bolts to "wiggle" the main cap base, being careful not to damage
the bolt threads.
WARNING
To prevent injury, be sure to have assistance with heavy lifting.
Crankshaft weighs 80 pounds (36 Kg).

Lift the crankshaft and gear from the cylinder block as shown in FIGURE 4-58.
