11.
NO SOUND IN HEADSETS.
Step 1.
Check headset connections.
a. Push in headset plugs and tighten screw connections to assure proper seating.
Step 2.
Check intercom volume controls.
a. On IOS Communication Panel slowly adjust INSTRUCTOR VOICE COMM VOLUME
control in a clockwise direction while counting into the microphone using a
normal
voice level
b. If increasing the VOLUME control does not increase your voice level notify
Organizational Maintenance.
c. Perform a. and b. tests in the Crew Stat n using Crew Helmets and VOLUME
io
controls on Commander's and Gunner's Intercom Box.
12.
VOICE INTERCOM OPERATES BUT AURAL CUES ARE NOT HEARD.
Step 1.
Check IOS Communication Panel AURAL CUES VOLUME control.
a. While a training exercise is running adjust AURAL CUES VOLUME control slowly
in
a clockwise direction.
b. If increasing the VOLUME control does not increase the Aural Cue's level for
satisfactory listening, notify Organizational Maintenance.

VOICE INTERCOM AN AURAL CUES OPERATE BUT IOS TAPE RECORDER OUTPUT IS NOT ARD.

Step 1.
Check Tape Recorder tape cassette and power on pushbutton.
a. Assure that POWER pushbutton is depressed.
b. Assure that tape cassette is inserted and cover closed.
