EMERGENCY PROCEDURES (Continued)
RESPONSE TO EQUIPMENT OVERTEMPERATURE ALARM
If an overtemperature condition exists in the IOS, SPC or Crew Station, the IOS Communication Panel (1) Audible Alarm
(2) will buzz to alert the Instructor/Operator. One or more of the overtemperature indicator lamps(3) will light to show him
the location of the overtemperature equipment. If an overtemperature condition occurs:
1.
Scan the overtemperature indicators (3) to pinpoint the location of the problem.
WARNING
An overtemperature condition can rapidly develop into an equipment fire and produce toxic smoke.  If the
overtemperature condition 'occurs in the Crew Station, alert the students and assure that they exit the Crew Station
immediately.
2.
Alert the students over the intercom, and if the overtemperature condition is in the Crew Station, make sure that
the students exit the Crew Station immediately.
3.
Press the SILENCE pushbutton (4) to silence the alarm buzzer.
