Control or Indicator Function

SETUP key
This key is an alternate function key (depress
once to enter Setup mode, and once again to
exit the mode). The key is not normally used
for operation; however, if the keyboard locks
up (see item 4 below) the Setup key may be
depressed twice to clear the lockup.

ON LINE indicator
Lights red to show that the Display Terminal
is on-line and ready to transmit or receive
messages to or from the GPC.
3
OFF-LINE indicator
Lights red to show that the Display Terminal
is off-line and cannot communicate with the
GPC, but the keyboard remains active and all
characters typed are placed on the Display
Terminal.
