DISASSEMBLY
CAUTION
Do not damage lobes or gear journals when

Using a gear puller, press camshaft
free from camshaft
removing camshaft.
gear (8).

Remove camshaft gear key (9).
A Remove retaining ring(l).
G Remove thrust washer (10).
H Remove external retaining ring
Using a gear puller, remove injection pump drive gear (12).
Remove governor
and ten steel balls (3).
Remove drive gear key (13).

C Remove three screws (4) and
NOTE

Insert hollow tube or pipe over governor pin (6) and inside
Do not remove governor pin (6) unless excessively
damaged or worn.
gear bore, to protect pin.
