OIL FILTER ADAPTER REPAIR
DISASSEMBLY
A Remove straight adapter (1) and elbows
and 4) from
adapter assembly (5),
REMOVAL
B Remove three screws (6) and
from cover (8).
A Remove two oil cooler line elbows(l).
Discard
(7).
B Remove three bolts (2) and
(3). Discard
C Remove cover (8).
washers (3).
D Remove
thermostat (10), and gasket ( 11).
C Remove oil filter
E Discard thermostat (10) and gasket (1 1).
D Remove and discard
