Encased seal consists of a seal and two backup
rings.
4. REMOVE PLUG (1).
5. REMOVE ASSEMBLY (2)
a. Place assembly (2) in vise.

b. Thread slide hammer (3) into slide

3/32-inch socket wrench attachment,
assembly (2) to remove piston (7).
turn setscrew (6) in until it goes

through wall of assembly (2).
packing (8) from piston (7).
