24. REMOVE PRESSURE FLUID
F I L T E R (1).
a . Using 3/8-inch drive ratchet handle and
5/16-inch socket wrench
attachment,
r e m o v e filter (1).
b. Remove preformed packing (2).
2 6 . INSTALL FILTER (1).
a . Install packing (2) on filter (1).
25. INSPECT FILTER (1) AND
FILTER CAVITY (3).
b. Install filter (1).
a . If metal chips are found, go to
c. Tighten filter (1).
s t e p 26. If not, discard packing (2)
and go to step 28.
27. GO TO STEP 39.
29. REMOVE VALVE ASSEMBLY (4).
a. Carefully pull valve assembly (4)
s t r a i g h t out of hole in piston (5).
30. REPLACE VALVE ASSEMBLY (4).
28. CHECK ACTUATOR VALVE
ASSEMBLY (4).
31. GO TO STEP 34.
a . Move valve assembly (4) in and out of
piston (5).
32. REMOVE VALVE ASSEMBLY (4).
b . If valve assembly (4) binds, go to
a. Carefully pull valve assembly (4)
step 29. If not, go to step 32.
