NOTE
This gear cluster is installed when intermediate
housing is installed on transmission housing.
83. TURN GEAR CLUSTER (1) OVER.
84. INSTALL NEW BEARING (2).
a. If bearing (2) was removed, go to
step 84b. If not, go to step 85.
b. Using screwdriver, install retaining
ring (3) and thrust washer bearing (4).
c. Install bearing (2).
d. Using screwdriver, install second thrust
washer bearing (4) and second retaining
ring (3).
85. INSTALL LEFT-HAND SINGLE DISK
BRAKE. See task REPLACE LEFT-HAND
SINGLE DISK BRAKE. page 4-255.
