3. INSTALL RELIEF VALVE (2).
a. Install relief valve (2) with small end
first.
b. Install spring (1).
2. CHECK SPRING (1).
c. Install new gasket (3).
a. Using indicator caliper, measure free
length of spring (1). Replace spring
d. Using 1-inch drive socket wrench
if free length is less than 3.28 inches
handle and 1 3/4-inch socket, install
(83.3 mm).
plug (4).
4 . USING 3/4-lNCH DRIVE TORQUE
WRENCH, ADAPTER, AND 1 3/4-lNCH
SOCKET, TORQUE PLUG (4) TO
200-220 ft-lbs (28-30 mkg).
