Oil filter - CONT
(2) Manually pump the old oil from the engine.

(3) Close the sump pump suction valve.
INSPECT THE FILTER.
a. Inspect and service the filter at same intervals. Refer to LO 55-1905-
223-12.
b. Clean around the filter head.
c. Remove the filter and clean the surface.
d. Lubricate the oil seal with clean engine oil.
e. Install the filter.
SERVICE THE OIL FILTER AS FOLLOWS:
Refer to LO 55-1905-223-12
a. Use high-quality multi-grade lubricating oil.
b. Fill engine with 1 0 quarts (9.5 liters) of oil as follows:
