EMERGENCY PROCEDURES
WARNING
Proper and timely response to emergencies is vital to the safety of personnel. Failure to read, understand and follow
established procedures may result in injury to personnel or damage to equipment.
EMERGENCY ELECTRICAL SHUTDOWN
In the event of personnel electrical shock or catastrophic equipment failure requiring electrical shutdown, the following
procedure must be performed.
1.
Locate the nearest EMERGENCY OFF pushbutton switch (1) on the Shelter wall and press it firmly.
2.
Observe the immediate shutdown of all electrical power and the illumination of emergency lighting.
3.
If anyone has been injured, tend to their immediate first aid needs and notify the medical personnel.
