UNUSUAL ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT POWER-UP PROCEDURE
This procedure describes differences in electronic equipment power-up when the shelters' internal temperatures are
outside the normal 590F and 860F (150C and 300C) range.
1.
Ensure that all temperature controls (1) are set to 720F.
2.
If internal shelter temperature as read on thermometer (2) is below 59F (150C), set MODE SELECTOR control
(2) on all air conditioners to HEAT.
3.
When thermometer (2) raises to 61F(16C), wait for one-half hour, then proceed to step 3 of Electronic
Equipment Power-Up Procedure (see 2-124).When shelter temperature reaches 65F (18.3C), reset air
conditioner MODE SELECTOR controls (3) as described in Chart (29) of Shelter Preconditioning Procedure (see
2-
118).
4.
If internal shelter temperature as read on thermometer (2) is above 86F (300C , set MODE SELECTOR control
)
(3) on all air conditioners to COOL.
5.
When thermometer (2) drops to 86F (30C), wait for one-half hour, then proceed to step 3 of Electronic
Equipment Power-Up Procedure (see 2-124). When shelter temperature drops to 720F (22.20C), reset air
conditioner MODE SELECTOR controls (3) as described in Chart (29) of Shelter Preconditioning Procedure (see
2-
118).
