Section IV. OPERATION UNDER UNUSUAL CONDITIONS
OPERATION WITH FAILURE OF ONE 19-INCH COLOR MONITOR
This procedure describes how the Instructor/Operator can continue training if one of the9-Inch Color Monitors in the
Instructor operator Station should fail during a training session.
1.
Press and release POWER on/off push-button switch (1) on the failed l9-Inch ColorMonitor.
2.
Note that the Commander's view is on the left-hand monitor (2) and the Gunner's view on the right-hand monitor
3) during normal operation.
3.
Set the MONITOR ASSIGNMENT NORMAL/TRANSPOSED selector switch (4) to the TRANSPOSED position
when the view of the failed monitor is desired. Observe that the desired view appears on the operational
monitor.
4.
Return selector switch (4) to the NORMAL position when the normal view of the operational monitor is desired.
5.
Notify organizational maintenance of the monitor failure upon completion of the training session.
