ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT POWER-DOWN PROCEDURE

This procedure describes the steps necessary for turning off the U-COFT electronic equipment. The procedure must be

completed prior to performing an overnight or weekend shutdown (see 2-205) or a system (long-term) shutdown (see 2-

207).

Make sure User Log-Off Procedure has been performed (see 2-198).

In Computer Shelter, at GPC Control Panel (A), set keyswitch (B) to LOCAL position.

In Trainer Shelter, at IOS Display Terminal keyboard (1) press RETURN key and observe "Username" promp(2)

appears on the display.

Using keyboard (1), type SHUTDOWN and observe that it appears on thedisplay after "Username" prompt (2).

Press RETURN key on keyboard and observe "Password" prompt(3) appears on the display.
