14. Set MODE SELECTOR (28) on each A/C control panel in accordance with Chart (29).
15. Set TEMPERATURE CONTROL (30) on each A/C control panel to 72o F.
NOTE
Chart (29) is to be used as a guide for setting the air conditioners at the start of a training day.
Instructor/Operator should monitor the wall thermometer (26) and adjust the controls as required to
ensure the temperature remains between 59F and 860F (15SC and 300C). Adjust TEMPERATURE
CONTROL (30) at A/C (25) for personnel comfort. During extreme cold temperatures, the
TEMPERATURE CONTROL (30) on A/C (25) may be set higher than 72F.
16. Feel to make sure air is blowing from upper louvers on the air conditioners. If an air conditioner
is not operating, notify organizational maintenance.
WARNING
Use care to prevent spillage when filling
humidifier water tank. Water spilled on
electrical items or the shelter floor can create a
hazard to personnel.
17. Check HUMIDIFIER TANK WATER LEVEL windows (31) to make sure humidifier tanks are
filled.
