9. Turn on shelter lighting at wall switches (13, 14, 15, and 16). If lights do not light (indicating a
power outage), leave the shelters and notify organizational maintenance.
10. Locate the three emergency lights (17) (one in each shelter) and make sure the toggle switch
(18) above each light is in the ON position and the red indicator lamp (19) is on. If the red indicator
is not on, notify organizational maintenance.
11. Press the "Push to Test" pushbutton (20) on each light and check that the emergency lights go
on while the pushbutton is held. If a light does not turn on, notify organizational maintenance.
11.1 Unlock each shelter door from the inside by pulling locking pin (20A).
