SHELTER PRECONDITIONING PROCEDURE
This procedure describes how to precondition the shelters prior to electronic equipment power-up.
WARNING
Do not remain in shelters with all doors closed
unless at least one air conditioner blower is
operating. Suffocation may result from lack of
fresh air.
1. Check all shelter doors to make sure they are not locked from the outside. Unlock as necessary.
2. Open trainer shelter door vent (1) and check that all other shelter door vents are closed. Close
and secure as necessary.

NOTE
When outside temperature is O  o F and below, all personnel should enter and leave the Integration
Shelter through the maintenance entrance (10) to prevent undue chilling of personnel in Trainer
Shelter.
8. In Trainer Shelter, locate Fire Protection Panel (II 1) and make sure that AC ON indicator (12) is
lit green and remaining four indicators are off. If AC ON indicator (12) is not lit, or if any of the other
indicators are on, leave the shelters and notify organizational maintenance.
