CREW STATION - UNIT 30

The Crew Station is an enclosed cabinet assembly located in the Trainer Shelter. The interior is designed to

simulate the Commander's Station (1) and Gunner's Station (2) in the turret portion of an M2/M3 BFV. A rear

doorway provides entry to the Crew Station. Controls, indicators, gunsights and panels within the Crew Station

are located in the same positions as those in the BFV. They look the same, operate the same, and provide

realistic, simulated responses. Certain controls and indicators in the U-COFT Crew Station that are not

functional or that differ from those in the actual BFV are described under Commander's Station and Gunner's

Station paragraphs.
