The 14.00-in. (35.56-cm) length is required for the adapter tube assembly.
5.
The 2.00-in. (5.08-cm) length is required for the adapter tube subassembly.
6.
Strip insulation from both wire ends as illustrated.
7.
Tin wire ends with solder (item 15, app D).
