PRESET COUNT
The PRESET COUNT mode of operation is actually a variation of a totalize mode. The input signal is
not fed directly to the totalizer and displayed as in a totalize mode, but is first prescaled (divided) by
the combined capacities of the thumbswitch preset system and the three-position multiplier toggle
switch. This prescaled input is then totalized and displayed by the counter. Control of the counting
process in this mode is identical to that for the TIME-EXT. (Interval) mode.
