A. Disconnect engine assembly
from transmission assembly
(TM 34-1).
NOTE
Splined shaft (1) does not turn
easily. You may have to use
both hands and some force.
B. Check rotation of splined
shaft (1) by turning shaft
(1) clockwise. Shaft should
turn smoothly. No rubs or
binds should be felt and no
unusual noises should be
heard.
Does shaft turn smoothly with no
unusual noises?
A. Troubleshoot transmis-
sion (TM 34-1).
B. Install engine assembly
on transmission assembly
(TM 34-1).
C. Verify problem is
solved.
