Remove center housing (6) from shaft (9).

(9) Remove retaining ring (11) from shaft (9).
(10) Remove turbine wheel shroud (12) from shaft (9).
(10.1) Remove seal ring (12.1) from shaft (9).
CAUTION
Lockplates must not be reused. Screws can come loose
and destroy turbocharger.
NOTE
Model B turbocharger does not have lockplates.
Straighten tabs (13) on lockplates (14).

Remove four screws (15) and lockplates (14).

Remove backplate (3) from center housing (6).
