a. General. The oil gage rod support screws
into a tapped hole in the crankcase and is sup-
ported at the top by a bracket. The generator
mounting bracket is installed at the lower left
front corner of the engine.
b. Removal. Figure 251. (A) Remove oil gage
rod support. (B) Remove three 7/16 x 1-1/2 cap
screws and 7/16-inch lock washers securing
generator mounting bracket to crankcase. (C)
Remove generator mounting bracket.

a . General. The turbosupercharger oil inlet
tube is connected to an elbow in the crankcase.
The oil pressure regulator valve housing as-
sembly is mounted near the center of the left
side of the engine.
