(3) Figure 114. (A) Loosen thetwo 2-inch

diameter hose clamps securing the

thermostat housing - to- water pump

hose. Slide the hose up on thermostat

housing assembly until hose clears

water pump assembly. (B) Remove four

5/16- inch plain nuts and 5/16- inch lock

washers securing oil cooler water inlet

tube to water pump assembly. Separate

flange of inlet tube from pump.

(4) Refer to figure 115 and disconnect

water pump assembly.
