a. Disassembly. Disassemble  throttle  control
cross  shaft  and  fuel  injection  pump  linkage
following  instructions  which  accompany  figures

1. Remove camshaft end plate bearing inner retaining
ring (A).
2. Remove cap screw (B) and lock washer (or assembled
washer bolt).
3. Remove control lever (C) from cross shaft.
4. Remove cross shaft bracket bearing retaining ring and
bracket (D) with bearing as shown in figures 6-215 and
6-216.
